“Big Top Locos came to Life in 1993/94 to merge rock concerts and social justice – our first concert was Rage Against The Machine – Tijuana No -‘cypress hill and 25 other bands in a parking lot in downtown LA- we lost our shirts but gained real purpose and brought attention to Children of Chiapas & Leonard Peltier and created the largest mosh pit in LA history of rock! 20 years before Coachella there was Big Top! We hope to infuse the historic retreat center with the same vibe of art and music as we celebrate cultures and blast beyond fences and borders!”
Big Top Locos was a creation of visionary mentor Richard Duardo, Culture Clash & Richard Montoya, Lalo Medina (White Stripes) and Sir Rolo Castillo!
